DRUG COURT COORDINATOR

Foundations Behavioral Health Services is a community-based behavioral health center serving Mercer County and surrounding areas. Established in 1975, Foundations has been providing professional counseling and support services to local residents for over 40 years. In 2012, the former Gateway Outreach Center merged with Foundations Behavioral Health, allowing us to offer a wide range of mental health and substance use disorder treatment.

 

The drug court coordinator will serve as a liaison between the court and treatment providers to facilitate referrals into the drug court program.  The coordinator will implement and monitor policies and procedures of the specialized docket according to standards set forth in the Supreme Court approved policy and procedure manual.  The coordinator will also function to monitor efficacy of the program and make recommendations to the court and treatment provider to enhance client outcomes related to compliance with treatment as well as compliance with terms of probation.

 

Minimum of a Bachelors degree with license through either the Ohio Counselor and Social Worker Board or the Ohio Chemical Dependency Board (LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, LCDC-II, LCDC-III, LICDC) and have past work experience in the substance abuse field.  This is a full time position with work hours generally day time, Monday through Friday, with a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the clients and the agency.

 

Salary is $32,000 – $48,000 annually, depending on education, license and experience.  Full benefits package available, including health and life insurance, voluntary dental and vision plans, retirement plan with agency match, generous vacation and sick leave, 12 paid holidays annually, paid CEU’s, paid license renewal, and a supportive professional work environment.

BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CASE MANAGER

The behavioral health case manager will provide flexible, mobile and client centered behavioral health services to adults and children with serious mental health disorders, or substance use disorders in individual, family or group settings.  The case manager will recognize common symptoms of behavioral disorders and develop and coordinate the goals and interventions in the client’s treatment plan.  Work will be with the client and/or family in the office or natural environment to address specific, individualized goals and interventions and will identify and maximize natural support systems and linkages to formal community services.

 

Minimum of a high school diploma and 3 years of specialized training in case management / social work and behavioral health issues.  Preference will be given to those with a Bachelors degree and past work experience as a behavioral health case manager or qualified mental health specialist.

 

This is a full-time position with work hours generally being day time hours, Monday through Friday, with a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the clients and the agency.

 

Starting salary is $26,000 – $42,000 annually, depending on education, license and experience.  Full benefits package available, including health and life insurance, voluntary dental and vision plans, retirement plan with agency match, generous vacation and sick leave, 12 paid holidays annually, paid CEU’s, paid license renewal, and a supportive professional work environment.

BEHAVIORAL HEALTH THERAPIST

Foundations Behavioral Health Services is a community-based behavioral health center serving Mercer County and surrounding areas. Established in 1975, Foundations has been providing professional counseling and support services to local residents for over 40 years. In 2012, the former Gateway Outreach Center merged with Foundations Behavioral Health, allowing us to offer a wide range of mental health and substance use disorder treatment.

 

The behavioral health therapist will provide mental health and substance use assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention services to clients with behavioral health disorders.  The position will be primarily based in an office setting with Monday through Friday hours, with one evening per week required.  Crisis intervention rotation will be for back up on-call only, during work hours, for when our dedicated crisis therapist is unavailable.

 

Minimum of a Bachelors degree with Ohio license is required (LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW)  Preference will be given to those with a Masters degree and independent license through the Ohio Counselor and Social Worker Board.

 

Starting salary is up to $50,000 annually, depending on education, license and experience.  Full benefits package available, including health and life insurance, voluntary dental and vision plans, retirement plan with agency match, generous vacation and sick leave, 12 paid holidays annually, paid CEU’s, paid license renewal, and a supportive professional work environment.
